German Speaking Cash Collection Professional
Job Description

What is the job about? 


As a German Speaking Cash Collection Professional you will be responsible for timely and quality cash collection on the assigned portfolio.



Among other exciting tasks, you will:

 

  • Drive prompt, proactive and effective communication with external customers on daily basis, with obtaining current information on outstanding cash
  • Register payment promises
  • Make sure promises are kept and follow up on broken promises
  • Monitor the aging of accounts and initiate phone calls to customers to arrange payments on time
  • Assist credit management function in order to set up right credit limits to customers
  • Coordinate timely dispute resolution
  • Perform account reconciliations, reduce account aging as much as possible 
  • Establish clear and concise communication with debtors, internal and external stakeholders
  • Preparation and attending reoccurring cash calls
  • Assist in portfolio health monitoring, identify concerns, trends, write off recommendations
  • Seek for continuous improvement opportunities to enhance effective MEC, processes and increase the quality of service


What do you need to apply?

 

  • You preferably hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance or Economics, but other Degrees are also welcome
  • You have at least 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role in Shared Service environment
  • You have a basic understanding of financial processes, preferably within an Order to Cash or similar finance area
  • You show interest in supporting process improvements and contributing to projects in a Shared Service Center environment
  • You have solid and stable Excel knowledge
  • You speak German and English fluently
  • If you have SAP knowledge it is advantageous
  • You have a systematic and quality-oriented way of working
  • You are not afraid to call customers and engage with them
  • You are open to deepening your knowledge in AI
  • You are willing to come to our Budapest office twice a week
