Finance Excellence Department 

You will become a valuable member of our Finance Excellence Department. The department is situated in Budapest playing an important role in our global finance organization. We are working with processes and way of working within Finance. Our main focus is on finance processes (accounting, controlling, statutotry reporting, internal control), policies and related project with two main  tasks:

  • creation, maintenance and continoues improvement of processes
  • managing and supporting of changes and projects which are impacting the finance area

What is the job about? 

The main purpose of the Finance Controlling (FC) Process Consultant position is to establish simplified, standardized and automated global processes in close co-operation with the Global Process Owners, Regional and local Finance Controllers, Finance Managers and with the Finance Experts from other finance areas.

Among other exciting tasks, you will:

  • support the global process owner converting strategic directions into day-to-day operational best practices in Finance Controlling (FC) area
  • ensure valid and updated process documentation availability and training material at all times and up-to-date communication through different channels
  • drive continuous process improvement activities 
  • drive deployment of new processes/process changes including required technology
  • analyse business activities from process and system point of view
  • support Finance Controlling organization in their daily activities
  • act as second level support for SAP questions in FC area
  • participate in projects as Subject Matter Expert in FC area, conduct Fit gap sessions and work out solution proposals
  • conduct introduction of global processes and acts as Subject Matter Experts for the FC processes 
  • identify gaps, propose solutions and prepare impact assessment to facilitate decision making
  • support ongoing Internal Control process improvements
  • support Performance measurement

What do you need to apply?

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics
  • You have 4+ years of relevant work experience in process development in SSC (preferable Finance Controlling/Record to Report/Governance department)
  • You have experience driving developed processes within finance
  • You are able to lead processes changes or projects
  • You are able to lead a business process within finance
  • You have solid knowledge of the processes and activities within the functional area in finance (accounting, controlling, statutory reporting)
  • You are able to influence others
  • You possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, regulations where applicable, for the finance processes
  • You speak English on fluent level
  • You possess SAP FI/CO area understanding
  • You have great analytic and problem solving skills
  • You have great problem solving skill
  • You have excellent presentation and communication skills
  • You are able to work independently
