What is the job about?

 

Are you passionate about driving sales and developing new opportunities? As a Sales Engineer at Grundfos, you'll be responsible for driving sales to Industry customers in Western Romania.

You'll develop new sales opportunities and maintain recurring business with existing customers, sharing market knowledge within the team to strengthen Grundfos's business results and market share.

You'll also participate in and drive trainings for customers and potential new customers to raise awareness of Grundfos offerings.

 

This role reports to the Sales Manager East Europe and can be based ideally in or around Timisoara, Oradea or Cluj Napoca

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Develop and Grow Sales: Independently drive sales within Western Romania
  • Market Knowledge: Develop and leverage market knowledge to drive commercial activities.
  • Customer Solutions: Explain the benefits of Grundfos solutions to different customer groups.
  • Stakeholder Management: Identify decision-makers and utilize the right approach to drive sales.
  • Opportunity Pipeline: Ensure a quality opportunity pipeline and strong hit rate.
  • Product Introduction: Introduce new products and solutions to customers.
  • Reporting: Monitor and report on pipeline, order intake, sales, profitability, and drive debt collections.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge with the team and take responsibility for your own competence development.
  • Quotation Review: Review substantial quotations and project bids.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a customer-centric and collaborative culture.

 

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or business.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience from a large international company in similar role.
  • Effective communication at all levels with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Frequent travel is expected
  • Positive, resilient and a good networker (track record in collaborating within own company but also internationally).
  • Good Business Acumen.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Great stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to think tactical.
  • Technical expertise.
  • Great ability to understand the digital offerings and to translate it to customer benefits.
  • Expert in working with CRM
  • Fluency in English, other European languages is a plus
