Sales Engineer – Ground Water and Irrigation

Currently, we, Grundfos Romania, are aiming to further strengthen our sales force with a Sales Engineer in Ground Water and Irrigation. To achieve this, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Sales Engineer to actively promote and sell Grundfos products and services to the Water Utility market within Romania, generate ideas, and support product development based on feedback from customers. 

 

Among exciting tasks, you will:

 

  • You will be responsible for local collaboration with internal divisons and external partners 
  • You will maintain and develop distributors and partners network
  • You will bring application knowledge into local product development 
  • You will manage directly the sales partners strategy in area of responsibility ensuring strong Grundfos negotiation positioning
  • You will initiate and follow all the campaigns for submersible or other products 
  • You will prepare proposal for tactical initiatives, plans to Sales Manager in order to boost sales, “grab” opportunities or react to competition activities
  • You will align and coordinate with technical support function the prioritisation of quotations and support needed to different customers or projects
  • You will cooperate with sales service team in order to ensure high end-customers satisfaction, sales of maintenance contracts and future business
  • You will follow all Group, regional, Area and local procedures and process.

 

What do you need to be successful?

 

  • You have a Bachelor’s, preferably in Engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in technical sales
  • You have knowledge of Water Utility customer and stakeholder understanding and about WU sales cycle
  • You have intermediate Romanian and English knowledge   
  • You have good presentation, influencing and negotiation skills
  • You possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws and regulations where applicable
  • You are willing to travel.
