As our new Warehouse Lead, you will be overseeing daily warehouse operations, leading and training a dedicated team, and ensuring seamless material flow to support production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position reports directly to our Warehouse Supervisor and is based in Brookshire, Texas operating on-site daily.

 

What you will be doing

 

As a key part of the Warehouse & Logistics team, you'll create impact by Driving efficiency and accuracy across warehouse operations while developing your team and supporting Grundfos's Win in the US growth strategy.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Lead daily warehouse operations including pulling production orders, staging parts for assembly and machine shop areas, and notifying production of material shortages.
  • Train, motivate, and prioritize work for warehouse team members; lead Daily Action Meetings and step in as Supervisor when needed.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle count programs, stock verification, and proper stocking procedures to ensure on-time production.
  • Champion 5S standards and maintain a safe, organized work environment while ensuring team compliance with all EHS and environmental policies.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction measures across logistics SAP transactions and warehouse activities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to allocate resources, manage attendance and PTO tracking, and enter requisitions for department consumables and tools.

What makes you a great fit

 

Above all, you are a proven warehouse professional with strong leadership instincts, SAP proficiency, and the ability to train others while keeping operations running smoothly and safely. We would also imagine that you have:

  • High School diploma or GED with 6+ years of warehouse experience.
  • Proficiency in SAP for warehouse and logistics transactions.
  • Experience operating forklifts and lifting equipment safely.
  • Strong communication skills in English with the ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.

 

It is a plus if you also have:

  • Experience with crane lift rigging operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and tracking.
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.

 

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. The salary range for this position is $23 to $30 USD hourly. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Certain roles are eligible to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization.
