As our new Warehouse Improvement Specialist, you will be driving warehouse process excellence by optimizing material flows, leading productivity improvement projects, and governing material master data across our manufacturing operations. What you will be doing
As a key part of the GCB Operations - Supply Chain team, you'll create impact by Applying Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced analytics to elevate warehouse performance and support Grundfos' Ignite '27 strategy, including our Win in the US initiatives.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Design and implement efficient warehouse material flow processes including supermarket, Kanban, two-bin systems, and line-side replenishment strategies
- Own material master data governance in SAP, ensuring accuracy of storage locations, lead times, planning parameters, and replenishment settings
- Analyze warehouse layouts and implement slotting optimization, redesigns, and storage density improvements to maximize space utilization
- Lead productivity improvement projects through Lean principles, standard work, Kaizen, and waste elimination initiatives
- Create and maintain KPI dashboards and reporting systems for inventory, productivity, service levels, and warehouse performance
- Develop and maintain PFEP databases, Standard Operating Procedures, and work instructions for all warehouse operations
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are an analytical, results-oriented supply chain professional with deep SAP expertise and a proven track record of driving warehouse improvements in manufacturing environments. We would also imagine that you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong SAP ERP knowledge across MM, WM/EWM, and PP modules, with proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel
- Hands-on experience with Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies applied to warehouse and logistics operations
- Solid understanding of MRP theory, closed-loop manufacturing principles, and end-to-end supply chain processes
It is a plus if you also:
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP)
- SAP implementation or migration experience

The salary range for this position is $78,400.00 - $118,700.00. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. The salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in this region.
