Grundfos is looking for a Senior Project Manager for our Brookshire, TX facility. The Project Manager will be a part of a team responsible for project execution within Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME). Their focus will be leading projects within the CBS plants in Brookshire, however there may ocassionally also be a need to lead globally.  They will be expected to collaborate on a high level with local stakeholders and ensure that the deliverables are within the required quality, function, time and budget. This position reports directly to the AME Director of CBS Operations and will operate on a hybrid schedule out of our Brookshire, TX facility. 

 

 

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Your main responsibilities:  

 

  • Plan the project in detail to ensure fulfilment according to agreed specification, delivery plan and budget.
  • High level stakeholder management and ensure clear visibility of project progress to stakeholders.
  • Follow up on economy, time schedule, quality and function and provide actions if plans are not in control.
  • Head implementation and verification of the equipment and processes linked to the projects.
  • Be a strong team player within AME and the Plant’s Manufacturing Engineering Team.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment to prepare moderately complex quotation packages, review detailed specifications including technical deviations lists as required.

 

Your Background:

 

We imagine that you have:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree within Project Management, Operation organization, electronics or mechanics.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience within project management in a manufacturing facility or similar within the equipment industry. 
  •  Knowledge of digital transformation projects along with financial knowledge.
  • Strong technical foundation. 
  • Organizational agility with an ability to be self-driven and have strong communication skills.
  • Technical coaching skills with an ability to coach engineers and specialists within own area.
  • Strong cultural understanding and be capable of working efficiently with people in a global context.
  • Strong supplier management with quality focus.
  • Ability to travel 20-40 days a year as needed both domestically and internationally.

 

 

The salary range for this position is $91,800-$138,275.  Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile.
