As our new Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be leading and executing projects that optimize manufacturing methods, streamline production workflows, and deliver measurable cost savings across our operations. This position reports directly to our Regional Operations Director for CBS Americas and is based in Brookshire, Texas, operating on-site daily.

The salary range for this position is $91,800USD – 138,275USD. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Brookshire, Texas.
What you will be doing
As a key part of the Manufacturing Engineering team, you'll create impact by Driving operational efficiency and quality improvements that directly support Grundfos's Ignite '27 strategy and Win in the US initiatives..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Lead manufacturing engineering projects to improve quality, reduce costs, and shorten lead times across production processes
- Plan and execute tooling, fixture requirements, and workspace layouts for maximum efficiency in the machine shop
- Establish routings and standards for new and modified engineered parts while maintaining setup sheets for all standard jobs
- Implement lean manufacturing processes, 5S initiatives, and Grundfos Production Systems (GPS) improvements through Kaizen events
- Participate in cross-functional teams including EH&S, Quality, and Audit Committees, delivering well-analyzed proposals to leadership
- Monitor daily production activities for accuracy and performance, providing training and corrective action to meet quality objectives
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a mechanically adept manufacturing engineering professional with deep expertise in machining, CNC programming, and lean methodologies, combined with strong communication skills and the ability to drive results across all organizational levels. We would also imagine that you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Manufacturing
- 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, or Production
- Proficiency with CNC programming/editing and machining fundamentals
- Strong proficiency with SAP/ERP/MRP systems and PC-based tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
It is a plus if you also:
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques, 5S, and Kaizen event facilitation
- Background in capital equipment justification and production system optimization
- Experience working in non-climate-controlled manufacturing environments with ability to lift up to 20 lbs
