As our new Senior Maintenance Technician III, you will be providing technical expertise and leadership across maintenance and facilities operations, troubleshooting complex equipment issues, driving preventive maintenance programs, and contributing to automation and yield improvement projects that keep our manufacturing facility running efficiently. What you will be doing:
As a key part of the Maintenance & Facilities team, you'll create impact by driving equipment reliability and operational excellence through expert troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives that minimize downtime and reduce costs.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues to minimize production downtime, liaising with third-party suppliers for purchasing or repair jobs as needed
- Implement and maintain Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) programs for all factory equipment, assembly lines, and testing facilities
- Support new assembly projects, engineering works, and production equipment setup while driving automation, yield improvement, and cost reduction initiatives
- Perform electrical work including low voltage tasks, minor repairs, and replacements across production and facility systems
- Ensure compliance with all EHS requirements including proper waste segregation, spill response, environmental reporting, and completion of required safety training
- Participate in facilities projects related to painting, daily maintenance, and mechanical issues while adhering to safety and quality lean initiatives
What makes you a great fit:
Above all, you are a technically skilled and safety-conscious maintenance professional with deep hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence. We would also imagine that you have:
• A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in facility and machine maintenance within the manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of Good Engineering Practices and maintenance programs (reliability-centered, preventive, predictive)
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, indicators) and advanced math skills including geometry and algebra for material fabrication
• Ability to utilize all hand tools and operate a forklift
It is a plus if you also:
• Have knowledge of factory mutual requirements, operational support, and capacity management
• Have experience with automation of manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing principles
• Have proficiency in understanding geometric dimensions and tolerancing (GD&T)
Please note this is a 2nd shift position.
The salary range for this position is $26.05 to $34.50 per hour. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
