What is the job about?

 

As our new Master Planner - Projects, you will be serving as the critical link between Sales and Operations, translating customer demand into actionable 3/12-month execution plans while maintaining a holistic End-to-End overview of all active projects from order to final delivery. As a key part of the Supply Chain Planning team, you'll create impact by Optimizing resources, eliminating bottlenecks, and driving operational excellence to ensure seamless project execution that supports Grundfos's Ignite '27 strategy and Win in the US initiatives.

 

This position reports directly to our Supply Chain Manager and is based in Brookshire, Texas, operating on-site daily.

 

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship is not available for applicants for US Work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa.

 

The salary range for this position is 78,400 USD – 118,700 USD. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Brookshire, Texas.

 

 

Your main responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain a holistic E2E overview of all active projects and create baseline schedules aligned with procurement and production lead times
  • Manage the Master Planning Schedule (MPS) to balance customer lead times with operational capacity, analyzing Man, Machine, and Materials to identify bottlenecks before they impact critical milestones
  • Act as the primary liaison between Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure timely readiness of all project deliverables
  • Code relevant fields within SAP for non-standard part number requests and ensure system accuracy across PS, MM, and PP modules
  • Drive process improvements and provide performance metrics to leadership, measuring and controlling output against targets
  • Ensure team compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements, leading by example in sustainable practices

 

 

We imagine that you have: 

 

Above all, you are a metrics-driven planning professional with strong analytical aptitude, deep knowledge of MRP theory and closed-loop manufacturing, and the communication skills to align cross-functional teams around shared delivery commitments. We would also imagine that you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management or master planning within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of closed-loop manufacturing principles, MRP theory, and capacity planning with in-depth resource understanding
  • Solid understanding of SAP, specifically how PS integrates with MM and PP modules
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data mathematically and statistically, plus advanced MS Excel proficiency
  • It is a plus if you also:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Understanding of Lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement methodologies
