As our new Logistics Manager, you will be leading all warehouse, inventory, material handling, and logistics activities — including oversight of third-party warehouse providers — to ensure seamless material flow, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery across our manufacturing operation. What you will be doing

 

As a key part of the Supply Chain & Logistics team, you'll create impact by Driving safety, quality, service, and cost performance while directly supporting production schedules, customer delivery commitments, and Grundfos's Win in the US strategy.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting, and inventory control to ensure uninterrupted material flow to manufacturing
  • Oversee third-party warehouse providers by establishing KPIs, conducting audits, monitoring performance, and optimizing the external warehouse network for cost and service efficiency
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through SAP and WMS, lead cycle count programs and annual physical inventories, and drive corrective actions on discrepancies
  • Manage warehouse space utilization, storage capacity planning, and material transfers between external warehouses and manufacturing facilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors, leads, and associates while promoting a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
  • Ensure full compliance with company safety policies, quality standards, EHS requirements, and environmental procedures including waste disposal and spill response

What makes you a great fit

 

Above all, you are a metric-driven warehouse leader with deep manufacturing logistics expertise, strong people management skills, and a proven track record of managing both internal operations and third-party logistics providers in fast-paced environments. We would also imagine that you have:

 

  • 7+ years of warehouse, distribution, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing warehouse/logistics operations and personnel
  • Experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) or external warehouse providers
  • Proficiency with SAP warehouse transactions and warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Must work on-site in Brookshire, TX plant 5 days.

It is a plus if you also:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
  • Experience supporting industrial equipment, pumps, motors, or engineered products manufacturing
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis

The salary range for this position is $88,000.00 - $134,280.00. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc.  The salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in this region.
