What is the job about?  

Grundfos CBS Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Finance Business Partner to join its Divisional Finance Operations CBS team. The Lead Finance Business Partner will be responsible for the financial elements on the Brookshire Texas plant and Brazil local assembly plant. You will be a valued and important partner in delivering financial transparency and analysis that will strengthen the foundation for executing business plans and decision making in both plants. You will participate in a range of controlling tasks covering monthly reporting, forecast, budget, target setting, business cases, costing projects, ad-hoc analysis, and centralized projects, thereby directly impacting the core business at Grundfos. The Lead Finance Business Partner will collaborate with the Plant Director, who is the key stakeholder of this position. This position will also be part of the Plant Leadership Team and will be working closely with the Finance Controlling team within Finance. This position reports directly to the Senior Finance Manager, Divisional Operations Finance Business Partner, CBS and will operate daily out of the Brookshire, Texas facility. Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.

 

Your main responsibilities:  

  • Provide complex analysis, continued development of monitoring and high-quality reporting of financial performance within the performance unit. 
  • Evaluate business cases and projects in close cooperation with business stakeholders in an EtE perspective. 
  • Deploy and integrate performance management methods and approaches in the ongoing dialogue with business unit.
  •  Act as business partner on unit level by proactively supporting and constructively impacting and challenging the plant management team and organization in the execution of business plans .
  • Contribute with a constant focus on performance management, with high quality analysis to strengthen the business decision- making process.  
  • Being accountable for all Finance matters locally and work closely together with the Global ONE Finance Team who supports on the outsourced elements in Finance.

 

 

Your background 

We imagine that you have:   

 

Qualified candidates will possess a master’s degree in Finance/Economics or similar paired with 3-4 years of experience in Business Controlling.

  • Experience working in a large manufacturing/industrial environment is preferred. 
  • Advanced knowledge of the plans, processes, and activities within the functional area in finance. 
  • Strong Production and Manufacturing finance experience required.
  • Cost accounting required.
  • Must show career progression in Finance with roles of increasing responsibility.
  • Experience with full P&L responsibility in a Production and Manufacturing environment.
  • Must have high attention to detail with a big picture view analysis.
  • Fluent in English required. 
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese speaking preferred.
  • High level of experience in in the Microsoft tools especially Excel.
  • Experience with SAP ERP & BW, Power BI and VBA is beneficial.
  • Will be required to travel to Brazil once per month. Thus, candidates should be able to maintain valid identification.
