Grundfos CBS (Commercial Building Services) is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to help maximize profitable sales through delivery of projects from order fulfillment to after sales to the satisfaction of the customer. This position reports directly to the Proposal Manager and will operate on a hybrid schedule out of our Brookshire, TX facility.
Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Your main responsibilities:
- Manage complex projects utilizing the agreed systems and project execution processes.
- Support quotation and proposal outputs so projects can be delivered on time and within agreed budget.
- Manage sub-suppliers and sub-contractors with supply agreements and ensure alignment of service levels for projects to be delivered.
- Handle customer issues if and when they arise by working closely with the Proposal team, Project Managers, and Sales and Service.
- Prepare submittal packages in line with agreed format and standards.
- Acquire a deep knowledge and understanding of product features, advantages and benefits and be able to present these to the customer.
- Manage risk and opportunities associated with the program of projects being delivered on time.
Your Background:
We imagine that you have:
- A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven subject matter expertise of delivering projects within a technically complex and dynamic environment on time, cost and quality.
- Strong communication, negotiation and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent business and technical experience, with a strong talent for enabling productive communication between groups.
- Strong experience in successfully engaging different groups of stakeholders in difficult and complex situations.
- Demonstrated strong management skills including project management, financial management, change management and facilitation.
The salary range for this position is $73,100-$112.100. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
