As our new Demand Planner, you'll be translating demand signals into optimized production schedules and driving planning excellence that ensures on-time delivery and operational efficiency across our manufacturing operations. This position reports directly to our Supply Chain Supervisor and is based in Brookshire, Texas, operating on-site daily.

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship is not available for applicants for US Work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa.

The salary range for this position is $66,900USD – 98,100USD. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Brookshire, Texas.

 

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Supply Chain Planning team, you'll create impact by optimizing production schedules, resolving supply constraints, and strengthening cross-functional collaboration to deliver reliable results for our customers.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules in SAP based on customer demand, material availability, capacity, and business priorities
  • Analyze workload, capacity utilization, and bottlenecks across work centers to balance production flow and improve throughput
  • Monitor material readiness, identify shortages, and coordinate with Purchasing, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to maintain production continuity
  • Maintain accurate planning parameters, lead times, lot sizes, routings, and production versions in SAP through routine data validation
  • Partner with Production, Engineering, Customer Service, and Sales to communicate priorities, resolve issues, and support delivery commitments
  • Identify opportunities to improve schedule adherence, inventory control, and delivery reliability in support of Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you're an analytical, metrics-driven planner with strong SAP expertise, a solid grasp of MRP and manufacturing principles, and the communication skills to align cross-functional teams around shared production goals. We'd also imagine that you are/have:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in production control, or 5+ years in inventory control or machine scheduling
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP (production planning modules) and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Understanding of closed-loop manufacturing principles and MRP theory

It's a plus if you also:

  • APICS/CPIM certification or similar professional credential
  • Purchasing or procurement experience
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement methodologies
