Job Description

Are you a finance leader who thrives on co-owning business strategy and translating ambitious financial targets into tangible results across a dynamic regional portfolio? Then join us in our mission to pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing quality of life for people.

As our new Chief Finance Business Partner, Industry Americas Division, you will be serving as the single point of contact between the Industry Americas performance unit and the global finance community — co-owning strategy, driving performance management, and delivering decision support across the entire value chain. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Industry Americas Division (IND) Finance team, you'll create impact by Driving a performance management and group profitability mindset that shapes how Industry Americas sets, deploys, and delivers on its short- and long-term financial ambitions.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Co-own the Industry Americas strategy process — interpret financial implications, set ambitious targets, and integrate them into planning models, budgets, forecasts, and business reviews
  • Drive end-to-end performance transparency by establishing clear financial KPIs, EBIT targets, and cash conversion metrics linked to staff incentive schemes
  • Lead the annual target-setting and planning cycle, coordinating business reviews with a forward-looking, proactive approach
  • Provide timely, high-quality decision support for business operations including investment business cases, pricing processes, and top-customer negotiations
  • Champion a group profitability mindset and embed high ethical standards and Grundfos internal control standards across all Industry Americas finance processes
  • Deliver results through a global Finance Delivery Model with dotted-line relationships, prioritizing what matters most within sometimes limited resources

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a high-integrity finance leader with strong strategic acumen, the ability to influence senior stakeholders through data-driven argumentation, and a proven track record of delivering results through others in a matrixed, international environment. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in full value chain Financial Management, Financial Commercial and Financial Sales experience required
  • Production Finance experience  a plus
  • Significant experience in finance business partnering or senior finance roles with deep understanding of business processes across functional areas
  • Hands-on experience with SAP is a must
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) with strong analytical, presentation, and stakeholder influencing skills
  • Ability to travel up to 40 days per year

It is a plus if you also:

  • International background or experience working across multiple regions, with willingness to relocate for this or future Grundfos roles
  • Prior experience leading through influence in a global delivery or shared-services finance model
  • Experience supporting commercial negotiations with key customers
