As our new Senior Sales Engineer, CBS, you will be driving technical sales excellence for our Commercial Building Services (CBS) segment, partnering with customers to design and specify advanced pumping solutions that optimize building performance and energy efficiency. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Commercial Building Services (CBS) Sales team, you'll create impact by Collaborating with engineers, consultants, and contractors to deliver sustainable water technology solutions that shape the future of commercial buildings..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage key customer relationships with mechanical engineers, consulting firms, and building contractors to drive CBS product specification and sales growth
  • Provide technical expertise on Grundfos commercial pumping systems, including HVAC, pressure boosting, and water treatment applications
  • Conduct product selections, system sizing, and engineering support to ensure optimal solutions for customer projects
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations, lunch-and-learns, and product demonstrations to influence specification decisions
  • Collaborate with inside sales, regional managers, and application engineers to convert project opportunities into revenue
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and project pipelines to identify and capture new business opportunities

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a technically skilled sales professional with deep knowledge of commercial HVAC and plumbing systems, a consultative selling approach, and a proven ability to build lasting relationships with engineers and specifiers. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of technical sales experience in commercial building services, HVAC, or pump/fluid systems
  • Strong understanding of commercial plumbing, hydronic systems, and pump selection principles
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B technical environment

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience with Grundfos or comparable commercial pump product lines
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or LEED accreditation
  • Familiarity with BIM tools, pump selection software, and CRM platforms such as Salesforce

You'll also be available for travelling up to 60 days per year.
