What is the job about?

This is a strategic leadership role at the heart of Grundfos’ global operations. As VP, Group Supply Chain, you will lead the global Supply Chain organization with a leadership team of 6 direct reports across five key domains:

 

  • Global Planning – Overseeing short-, mid-, and long-term planning horizons.
  • Supply Chain Execution –Directing order-to-cash and inventory performance.
  • Vendor Planning – Ensuring supplier reliability and material availability.
  • Global Logistics – Leading warehousing and transportation.
  • Global Supply Chain Network – Designing global resilient supply chains  

 

You will be responsible for driving transformation, resilience and competitive service levels across our end-to-end supply chain—from suppliers to customers—while enabling scalable growth and supporting our sustainability agenda.

The position reports directly to the EVP & Chief Operating Officer and is a member of the COO Leadership Team. Regular presence is required in our Bjerringbro office, Denmark.

 

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy global supply chain strategies and network design aligned with divisional and manufacturing goals.
  • Lead supply chain transformation programs focused on digitalization, AI, automation, and process excellence.
  • Ensure end-to-end visibility and transparency across vendors, manufacturing, inventory, logistics, and distribution.
  • Lead the global SIOP process to balance demand, supply and inventory
  • Drive global logistics excellence, including freight, packaging, warehousing, and global trade compliance processes.
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration and relationships with functional leaders, and business owners.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, customer centricity  and continuous improvement.
  • Build a global and high-performance supply chain organization with future-ready capabilities and talent. 

 

Your background

  • 15+ years of experience in global supply chain leadership within industrial manufacturing.
  • Proven success in leading global transformation initiatives and delivering operational excellence.
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Solid international operations leadership experience, ideally with exposure to US and Asia.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain planning principles, ERP systems, and supply chain technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams and create impact through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience working in complex, matrix, multinational organizations.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical horsepower, and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels and geographies.
  • High level of integrity and alignment with Grundfos values.
  • English fluency is required
