As Vice President, Group Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME), you will be a strategic leader driving the next generation of manufacturing technologies, architectures, and standards. Your mission is to set the direction for how Grundfos will manufacture in the future—pioneering sustainable, innovative solutions that secure our competitive edge while leading transformation initiatives to digitize, modularize, and future‑proof global manufacturing capabilities.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Future Manufacturing Direction: Define and own the long-term vision for Grundfos’ manufacturing technologies, ensuring evaluation and implementation of cutting-edge solutions to maintain competitiveness.
- Digital Transformation Leadership: Drive strategic responsibility for digital manufacturing solutions across global sites, ensuring alignment and standardization to leverage scale and efficiency.
- Technology Strategy & Innovation: Set direction for technology scouting and adoption, ensuring breakthrough innovations are converted into scalable solutions through strong partnerships and governance.
- Global Standards & Architecture: Establish frameworks and principles for modularization and equipment architecture to enable flexibility, sustainability, and speed across the network.
- Culture & Leadership: Build and inspire a diverse, high-performing leadership team, fostering an inclusive culture that champions collaboration, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure robust governance, process maturity, and compliance with internal and external standards to safeguard quality and sustainability.

Reporting Lines & Key Partnerships
You’ll report directly to our Senior Vice President, Group Operations and play a key role on the Group Operations Leadership Team. Leading a team of 8-10 direct reports, you’ll collaborate across divisions and partner closely with Group Technology & Innovation, Purchasing, Quality, and EHS—while building strong external relationships with universities, startups, and OEMs to drive breakthrough solutions.
What you will bring
- Proven Expertise: 15+ years in manufacturing engineering, operations, or related fields, with experience leading on a global scale.
- Education & Perspective: A Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Computer/Data Science, Business—or equivalent experience. Diverse career paths are welcome; if you bring vision and leadership, we want to hear from you.
- Transformation Leadership: A track record of driving large-scale change and operational excellence initiatives.
- Strategic Impact: Experience shaping and executing strategies in complex, global environments.
- Technology Enthusiasm: A genuine passion for emerging technologies and their potential to transform manufacturing.
- Technical Depth: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, digital systems (MES, analytics), and technology innovation.
- People Leadership: Skilled at building and developing diverse, high-performing teams.
- Collaboration: Ability to deliver results through cross-functional and cross-company partnerships.
- Industry Insight: Experience in water solutions or climate technologies is a plus.
