Are you a UX or design student looking for hands-on experience with real digital products, scalable design systems, and professional UX workflows?


Join the UX team in the Commercial Buildings division at Grundfos, where you will support daily design system and UX operations while learning how large-scale digital products are built and maintained.

You will become part of an experienced UX team working closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure consistent, scalable, high-quality user experiences.


What is the job about?

As a UX Student Worker, you will support the team with well-defined UX, design system, and process tasks.

The role suits you if you enjoy structured work, attention to detail, and contributing to improved workflows, consistency, and quality in digital products.

You will work under guidance from senior designers, maintaining and improving shared UX assets and processes.

Your key responsibilities:

Design System & UX Maintenance

  • Support Phrase Strings workflows, including UX copy alignment, structure, cleanup, and localization preparation
  • Assist with font updates to ensure consistency across products
  • Support modal component updates, including structure, content, and reuse
  • Contribute to unified updates in the Grundfos Design System (GDS)

UX Workflow Support

  • Assist in reorganizing and maintaining user flows
  • Help identify and document missing modals and UI elements
  • Support control mode work, ensuring consistency and clear documentation
  • Collaborate on defining and documenting design rules and guidelines

Jira & Process Support

  • Help structure and maintain UX/design system Jira tasks
  • Improve existing task descriptions for clarity and alignment
  • Create new UX-related Jira tasks when needed

Collaboration & Learning

  • Work with UX designers, developers, and stakeholders
  • Handle clearly defined tasks independently and ask questions when needed
  • Learn how UX work is planned, documented, and executed

Practical information

  • 15–18 hours per week
  • Location: Bjerringbro (Commercial Buildings division)
  • Flexible hours around studies and exams
  • Option to work from home on agreed days

What are we looking for?

  • Studying Bachelor’s or Master’s level within UX, UI, interaction design, or similar
  • Basic experience with Figma and digital design workflows
  • Structured and detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently on defined tasks
  • Problem-solving mindset with interest in scalable design systems
  • Fluent in English
