As our new Technical Drawing Designer, you will be creating, validating, and maintaining high-quality technical drawings and documentation that enable the design and development of both new and existing pump products across our global value chain. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Data & Documentation team, you'll create impact by Driving manufacturable, cost-efficient design solutions by bridging engineering intent and production reality through expert technical drawing and documentation excellence.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Create, validate, and document technical drawings (2D/3D), assemblies, and product documentation in compliance with Grundfos standards and ISO requirements
  • Act as subject matter expert for technical drawing, resolving complex drawing and documentation tasks in close dialogue with Product Development Engineers
  • Ensure correct product structures, BOM alignment, and documentation quality in PLM/PDM systems
  • Support New Product Development (NPD) and Engineering Change Management processes across cross-functional project teams
  • Mentor and develop less experienced technicians and designers within the technical drawing discipline
  • Drive continuous improvement of drawing processes, standards, and tools

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a detail-oriented technical drawing expert with deep CAD proficiency, strong knowledge of GPS and ISO standards, and the leadership presence to mentor others and influence stakeholders across a global organization.

We would also imagine that you have:

  • Technical degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or similar
  • 10+ years of experience in technical drawing and product documentation within product development
  • Deep knowledge of CAD tools (e.g., Catia, Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and PLM/PDM systems
  • Strong knowledge of GPS, ISO standards, tolerance stack-ups, and design for manufacturing principles

 

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience with Teamcenter or Enovia PLM/PDM platforms
  • Experience working in a global matrix organization
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, casting, molding, and assembly
