What is the job about?

Within our HQ in Bjerringbro, you will join our Technology Innovation team responsible for technology development of power electronics for motor drives and power supplies.

 

Here, you will work with a team of specialist colleagues dedicated developing high quality power electronics with long operational lifetime based on latest and upcoming technologies.

This team is a part of a larger Technology Innovation development organization providing technology for the Grundfos product development organizations. You will likewise be in contact with many international experts, external suppliers, and universities.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Develop and qualify power electronics technologies, components, and modules based on technologies like GaN and SiC in close cooperation with universities and tech suppliers.
  • Works with disciplines like circuit simulation, thermal simulation as well as finite element simulation, thermal management, EMC, and electrical safety.
  • Drive integration of power electronics into demonstrators and perform debugging of the developed technologies.
  • Secure reliability, robustness, cost efficiency, and long operational lifetime using highly advanced lab equipment.
  • Scout for new technologies according to business needs.

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • Master or bachelor’s degree in Electronics.
  • You have some experience with development of power electronics.
  • Can work with hands on in a lab environment with advanced equipment’s.
  • Preferable experience with - or passion for - simulations as a part of your work.
