What do we offer? 
Would you like develop software tools that support and improve our tool chain for an embedded software development platform with focus on continuous integration (CI), build and automated test for the entire Grundfos Group?

Then join the SW Platform & Architecture department in Bjerringbro. We are responsible for developing platform based embedded software from low level hardware drivers to application layer features for our complete product portfolio. In addition to this we have a dedicated team working on developing and maintaining our tool chain on a continues basis. You will report to Senior Manager, Erik Adam Schulz Laursen.

What is the job about?
You will participate in the development of scripts, tools, and web interfaces that support the automation of our software build and test process primarily developed in Python. Doing scripting and customisation of the complete development tool chain is an important part of your tasks, just as you take part in deploying, training, and supporting software developers in using the tool chain. Your main competencies should be:
•    Experienced Python developer. Additional programming languages knowledge like bash, php, Gradle, and JavaScript is a plus.
•    Familiarity with git, docker, CMake, gcc, IAR, JIRA, Confluence, Windows, and Linux.
•    Knowledge in CI/CD environments and their associated toolchain (e.g. Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory).

“The challenge in this position will be to understand our different tools and then develop the glue that makes the integration seamless and user-friendly. Another interesting challenge will be to work globally, across different cultures.”, Erik explains. 

What do you need to apply?
You have experience in developing software in Python and have general knowledge of scripting, build management, and CI. You have good English skills verbally and in writing.

”You have a strong technical profile and the motivation to work with the technical details as well as engage in the practical assignments in the implementation process. You also need to be able to speak your mind and challenge opinions.”, Erik says.
