Are you an excellent communicator who likes to be creative and experiment with new ways of producing technical content for the end users?
 

What do we offer?
In Bjerringbro you will join Circulator and Boxed Solution Product Development within our Commercial Building Service (CBS) division.
 

As our new Senior Technical Communicator, you will be responsible for creating technical information for our products that will make it easy for our customers to choose, buy, install, and operate our current product programs as well as for future generations.
 

What is the job about?
As a Technical Communicator, you will bring your communication expertise to our 4 agile teams following the team’s prioritization and execute agreed activities within the sprints.
 

You will need to learn and understand the customers' and end-users needs to make sure that we create content that matches their needs.
 

More specifically some of your key tasks will be:

  • Create written content that is structured and easy to find, e.g., topic-based content
  • Specify requirements for visual content (photos, drawings, videos, etc).
  • Advise product owners and stakeholders on information-specific issues, e.g. appropriate solutions or legal issues
  • Publish content to internal and external platforms
  • Ensuring that the source text is unambiguous, understandable and able to be translated into a wide range of different languages
  • Checking source texts for readability, translatability, ambiguities, plausibility, and consistency (also across documents)
  • Cooperating with technical review experts (proofreaders)
  • Communicate the status of your tasks to our agile teams and product owners
  • Coach others and help develop their professional skills via knowledge sharing (go-to person)
  • Work as an ambassador among divisions and A&E organization for continuous improvement.

 

What do you need to apply?
We imagine you….

  • have a Bachelor's in Technical Writing/Business English or similar e.g. Communication, User Experience Design or similar. Or maybe you have a technical background and have gained experience as a Technical Communicator
  • know DITA and DITA best practices
  • can plan and acquire resources
  • follow up and adapt to changes in the process
  • independently can keep your professional skills up to date
  • are familiar with the translation standard EN15038
  • are proficient in English

 

On a personal level, you are organized, and your determination helps you to keep on top of several tasks on more products at the same time. Equally important, you are a networker, and you communicate easily with colleagues on all levels.
