Senior Specialist, Motor Control

Would you like to participate in developing the future applications and technologies within software for Grundfos' products?

Then join Embedded Software Platform Denmark department in Bjerringbro. We are responsible for developing embedded software focusing on functionality used across the product portfolio. In this position you will work with development, test and configuration of motor control software in the boundary area between hardware and software.  You will be part of a self driven team and report to Director, Erik Adam Schulz Laursen:

What is the job about?

Your key tasks will be to develop, integrate and maintain the embedded software used for motor control of all Grundfos pumps with frequency converter. The job implies working all the way from formulating the requirements through analysis, implementation and robustness verification to deployment in production. The ideal candidate processes the following competencies:

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • C programming at professional level
  • Embedded software development with focus on real time execution
  • Experience in ac motor control
  • Building of simulation models and using those in the development
  • Knowledge of control engineering
  • Understanding of power electronics topologies and how they work
  • Knowledge of standards and methods for handling software safety
  • Ability to transform a functionality into a control algorithm and implement it in C

Your background

You may be newly graduated engineer within control engineering or power electronics with software interest. Or you are an experienced embedded software developer with motor control and C knowledge. You have good English skills verbally and in writing.
