What is the job about?

You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality data products that offer value to our customers based on data insights.  This role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to discuss and scope activities and translate them into technical requirements. Additionally, you’ll challenge and contribute to our standards while collaborating with your colleagues to help them overcome challenges. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll be part of a continuous learning journey, where you’ll discover new things every day.

Your main responsibilities:

• As a senior software engineer in our Data team, your responsibilities would be:
• Creating, implementing, and maintaining high-quality data products.
• Contributing to a high standard of documentation and to the development process.
• Identifying and solving complex problems using data insights and leveraging both Grundfos’ knowledge in the field but also new technologies.
• Collaborating with different teams involved in the product development to clarify technical requirements.

What we expect from you:

•  A master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering (or similar field).
• 2 to 5 years of experience working with data (data scientist, data engineer), software development, engineering or another relevant topic.
• Experience using version control, namely Git.
• Solid experience working with Python and developing Python applications.
• Some understanding of topics such as signal processing, condition monitoring, optimization, statistics and machine learning.
• Willingness to learn and step out of one’s comfort zone.

 What would be beneficial:

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps would be beneficial.
• Experience or knowledge with another language like shell/bash, C, C++, Rust or Go would be a plus.
• Some experience with IoT systems.
