Contract Type:  Full-Time
Working Hours:  37

Join us to take part in our journey towards hyper automation – from setting the agenda to rolling it out across Grundfos

“This is an amazing opportunity to plant a seed and watch it grow. Essentially, you’ll help colleagues across professions to perform even better and have an easier day. And the better our systems work, the closer we are to pioneering solutions to the world’s climate challenges,” says Ghita Sloth Poulsen, Head of Intelligent Automation.

Intelligent automation – we know how to work smarter

In Intelligent Automation, you will join an agile team of 7 colleagues based in Poland, Hungary, Romania and Denmark. A truly multi-cultural team, we join forces to create intelligent automation and optimisation for all the global processes in the Grundfos Group functions, such as Finance, HR, IT and Operations.

We are a good mix of senior and junior developers, a scrum master and a product owner, and right now, we are focusing on the transition towards hyper automation, working with tools such as Blue Prism, Power Automate, and Power Apps, to name a few.

“We were born a global team but stay closely connected, e.g., through virtual coffee talks, where we chat about life outside of work – or in our developers’ forum, where we share ideas, interests and knowledge. But we also travel 30-60 days per year to meet fact-to-face,” explains Ghita.

Development is more than IT

As our new senior software developer, you will be doing RPA development all the way through the development cycle. You will join us right as we are transitioning to hyper automation, setting the agenda and combining different technologies in an end-to-end process flow. In this transition, you will also be instrumental in setting the agenda and developing it further.

Your job will take you from the initial requests by the business over the design phase of RPA architecture to actually developing the new automation processes. Part of this process will also be to think holistically, challenge colleagues to re-think processes and come up with improvement ideas.

You will also be instrumental in onboarding, training and guiding junior developers, using your experience and knowledge.

Moreover, you will:

  • Develop software according to specified software development process (e.g., IT security, testability governance, object-oriented, template-specific etc.)
  • Take ownership of technical deliveries according to system and solutions architecture
  • Drive software solution architecture within limited scope
  • Set quality standards for code review
  • Work effectively in a CI/CD pipeline

Your experience will speak volumes

What we are looking for is someone who is not only experienced but also has a natural ability to share knowledge and spot room for improvement. You simply thrive on interacting with users and process owners, engaging them and keeping them up to date.

Furthermore, we imagine that you:

  • Have several years of experience in software development in a large company with knowledge and insights to all phases of the software development cycle
  • Might have a background within finance, mechanical engineering, software engineering, computer science, or similar
  • Have experience with automation tools
  • Are fluent in English

Please note that if you are located outside of either Poland, Denmark or Hungary, relocation is not mandatory but can only be considered to Hungary.
