Security and Process Engineer for product software development

Would you like to participate in developing software for future products and platforms within product software development at Grundfos?

Then join the SW Platform & Architecture department in Bjerringbro. We need to strengthen our focus within security and processes. You will be part of a global team that develop and maintain our processes and workflows used during development, where you will ensure that these are compliant with security frameworks. You will also ensure understanding and anchoring of processes in development teams within firmware development of our products. You will be part of a department consisting of product owners, architects, SCRUM master’s and software developers where you will report to Senior Manager, Erik Adam Schulz Laursen:

What is the job about?

Your key tasks will be to use your knowledge within security standards like IEC 62443, ISO 27001 or ETSI 303 645 and translate this into a comprehensible format that is built into our processes. Alternate you have in-depth knowledge on software development processes or INCOSE Systems Engineering and wish to build knowledge on security frameworks. You will use your knowledge to develop our processes as part of the global team and stakeholders across our organisation.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Implement security compliance in processes within embedded software development and translate cyber security standards into a comprehensible format.
  • Conduct a gap overview and scale the organization’s ways of working with standard(s).
  • Formulating and writing processes and procedures to comply with standards; making sure maintainability, and flexibility to an extent intuitively executed by all the stakeholders.
  • Establish user guides/work instructions, and templates to the extent that all stakeholders can carry out their respective jobs obeying derived processes and procedures.
  • Support on analysis for how software solutions become compliant with e.g., IEC 62443-4-2 or ETSI 303 645
  • Perform internal assessments for documenting process compliance.

It is an advantage if you understand of software development in particular embedded systems. Understanding of working in a global organization across different cultures and development sites is a plus.

Your background:

What we are looking for in you is your ability to transform your knowledge regarding security processes and software development processes into understandable and meaningful workflows that can be anchored in our organisation and be certified by an external certification body. Any understanding of the products we deliver is highly beneficial, and you probably hold a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree. Also, you have excellent communication and facilitation skills, enabling you to work with software professionals as well as business organization on technical projects.
