Senior SW Engineer

Then join a team of 6 skilled professionals who design software, hardware and mechanics for sensors that measure water flow, pressure and temperature. Our solutions are tailored to meet the requirements of our biggest OEM customers (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

Together, we generate ideas and see every development project to the end, creating sustainable solutions that are ready for implementation.

Translate customer needs into the right algorithms
In this role, you will primarily work in C and create algorithms in the software that will ensure precise measurements. Through your work, you will develop an expert understanding of sensors and be instrumental in advising colleagues in the team and across the organisation. 
“In this role, you bridge theory and practice as you have to understand complex systems while creating functional solutions. Our customers’ requirements are very concrete, but you need to develop creative solutions to meet them. There really is no rule book for what we do,” explains Chief Engineer Per E. Andersen.  

You will work in our office in Bjerringbro but should expect to travel 1-5 days per month, primarily to visit customers or attend conferences across Europe. In a typical day, you will:
 
•    Create software solutions in our general platform and customise these solutions for our OEM customers   
•    Consult with project managers across the organization or directly with customers
•    Test software and ensure software quality

•    Hold a master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, signal processing or equivalent
•    Have a strong mathematical understanding, enabling you to write the correct algorithms
•    Have programming skills in C
•    Are fluent in English
•    May have knowledge of hardware solutions
