Senior Quality Technician, Production
Job Description

Do you want to assist in securing the continuous development of Quality in Grundfos and support the growth of the world’s most sustainable pumps? Do you want to contribute to enhancing Quality in one of our important plants in Bjerringbro? If yes, then we might be looking for you.

 

What is the job about?

As our new Senior Quality Technician, you will support one of the plants in Bjerringbro in resolving customer complaints, handle quality-related cases, and support manufacturing engineering in the continuous improvement of production documentation and process capabilities.

Moreover, you will:

 

  • Be quality responsible for some of the production areas at the plant.
  • Case handling and facilitator in the investigation of root causes and working together with stakeholders in the implementation of containment and corrective actions.
  • Deploy quality culture on shopfloor and validate operators’ quality competencies.
  • Ensure targets regarding Quality KPIs are met.
  • Participate in external plant audits.
  • Maintain and support documentation and records.
  • Compare the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment, and products to technical specifications to identify defects.
  • Record results and prepare simple technical reports.
  • Conduct LPA-audits on case handling of Customer NCs (CQI).
  • Participate in VPC meetings.
  • Facilitate ECM follow-up and Production base meetings.
  • Handle actions in VPCs and ECMs.

 

Your background 

As our new Senior Quality Technician, you are curios by heart and have advanced problem-solving skills. You have effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.

 

We furthermore imagine that you: 

  • Have a background as a graduate in production technology, machine technician, measurement technician or similar with 5 years of relevant work experience within a technical organization.
  • Possess a quality mindset.
  • Have a desire to work within an agile environment.
  • Speak and write Danish and English fluently.
