Job Description

Are you ready to make a significant impact as a Senior Product Development Engineer? At Grundfos, we are passionate about engineering excellence and innovation. Our team drives the heart of pump product development – PD Multistage, and we are looking for a dedicated Senior Product Development Engineer to join us.

What is the job about?

As a Senior Product Development Engineer, you will contribute to our SCRUM team’s deliveries using relevant office applications like Excel, Catia, and SAP. You will apply your engineering skills to drive tasks from the backlog, supervise assistant product development engineers, and contributes to product development through detailed analysis and technical documentation.
 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Creating, collecting, and analyzing data for problem-solving and product development maintenance
  • Drive activities related to development project and/or architecture projects from a complete product view
  • Taking ownership and being dedicated to supporting the product line(s)
  • Contributing to technical updates and improvements to the product lines
  • Preparing documentation in compliance with legislation, Grundfos processes, standards, and practices
  • Ensuring documentation is updated (drawings, SAP data, etc.)
  • Driving the requirements related to the team’s epics

Your background:

We imagine that you have:

  • An engineering degree within the mechanical domain (Master's or Bachelor's) or a similar education
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Have a systems engineering approach – INCOSE or similar
  • Proficient English – verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical knowledge in product development
  • Knowledge in job-relevant tools (e.g., 3D CAD, preferably Catia)
  • Experience using simulation tools for relevant specialist areas like Ansys
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Understanding agile principles
  • Strong interpersonal and cooperative skills
  • Being a role model for junior colleagues and peers
  • Structured and conscientious approach, ensuring high quality and timely deliverables
  • Analytic team player with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge within pump applications
