As our new Product Development Engineer, you will be leading the advancement of next-generation pump and motor technologies to strengthen sustainable groundwater solutions for customers worldwide. What you will be doing
As part of the Product Development Engineering team, you’ll connect product, application, and component decisions to deliver robust systems that meet performance, cost, and quality targets across the value chain.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Product ownership — Ensure seamless transfer of products from development to production
- Cross‑functional leadership — Integrate mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines and resolve cross‑domain trade‑offs
- Lifecycle execution — Maintain traceability from requirements to system‑level verification
- Technology development — Implement key technologies and contribute to future roadmaps
- Mentoring — Support knowledge‑sharing and capability building
- Project delivery — Optimize system‑level behavior and deliver on time and within budget
What makes you a great fit
You are a strong systems thinker with hands‑on experience in complex product development and the ability to integrate across engineering domains. We imagine you have:
- Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience with 5+ years in product development
- Experience across the full system lifecycle in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software domains while balancing performance, cost, risk, and complexity
- Proven cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment skills
Nice to have:
- Experience with Model‑Based Systems Engineering
- Ability to work with system models and maintain digital traceability
- Experience in Agile/Scrum product development
