At Grundfos, we offer you the unique opportunity to advance your skills, career, and contribute actively to our ambitious climate change strategy. You’ll be instrumental in developing intelligent pump solutions while spreading our optimistic, can-do attitude to influence global innovation.

What is the job about?

Few sentences advised, summarizing in a nutshell what the job is about.

You will be taking part in the development and validation of new intelligent pumps for next generation HVAC systems and Commercial Building Services. You will do this in close collaboration with your colleagues in Denmark and India, becoming a key player within a Danish scrum team of nine software developers and a Scrum Master.

As Test Developer, you will take part of driving the software verification, influence test strategies, and maintain stable test environments, while contributing to test automation, virtual test systems, and simulation development. Additionally, you will help define CI/CD strategies, and work closely with hardware and PC-based test systems throughout the development cycle.

Your main responsibilities

  • Develop and validate intelligent solutions for embedded software in HVAC and Commercial Building Services.
  • Influence test strategies and drive verification processes.
  • Maintain test setups and ensure a stable environment for testing.
  • Contribute to automation, simulation, and CI/CD strategies.
  • Collaborate within a scrum team and broader organization for system validation.

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, engineering, or a similar technical background.
  • High expertise in Python.
  • Knowledge of distributed embedded system design and agile software development.
  • Experience with embedded Linux systems e.g. Raspberry-PI
  • Proficiency in tools like Jenkins, JIRA, and Bitbucket.
  • Familiarity with embedded C, PLC and MQTT.
  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).

Personal Qualities:

You enjoy diving deep into tasks, experimenting, and sharing ideas, even when they are not fully developed, to seek constructive feedback. You are proactive, confident in promoting your ideas, and eager to collaborate with peers and stakeholders.

What’s in it for you?

You’ll be instrumental in spreading our optimistic, can-do attitude to advance global innovation and a clear sense of purpose, embodying our six core values, guiding our colleagues in living them daily, and making a difference in global projects. We support you in navigating your career path, offering tools to hone your leadership craft.

Your day-to-day benefits include:

  • Diverse, inclusive environment with employee-led forums to connect and share openly.
