Research & Development
Senior Modularization Consultant
Job Description

Are you passionate about shaping the future of modular product families and driving strategic portfolio decisions that impact an entire global organization? Then join us in our mission to pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing quality of life for people.

As our new Senior Modularization Consultant, you will be driving modularization project deliveries and facilitating decision-making for major product portfolio improvements, working at the intersection of commercial insights, product design, operations, and finance to create Master Plans that set the strategy for future product innovations. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Architecture & Modularization team, you'll create impact by consolidating cross-functional insights into actionable modularization strategies that streamline development processes and generate significant financial and operational gains across Grundfos.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Drive Modularization Project deliveries together with Chief Architects, consolidating findings from commercial, design, operations, and finance domains into comprehensive Master Plans
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and analyze product data to build conclusions that enable strategic decision-making at board level
  • Manage a large stakeholder landscape across organizational levels, functions, and geographies, promoting the adoption of Grundfos' module platforms
  • Guide and support development projects to comply with the modularization strategy and contribute to maturing tools, templates, and supporting systems
  • Drive the Modularization & Standardization (MOST) change journey through clear communication, training, and stakeholder engagement

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a strategic thinker with a full value-chain mindset who thrives at the intersection of technical and business-oriented decisions, translating complex insights into pragmatic plans and compelling communication. We would also imagine that you have:

  • MSc in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, software, or similar) with 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with modularization and standardization concepts, including product structures, architectures, and/or market and business requirements
  • Understanding of the full value chain — market, product/technology, production — including financial insights and business case calculations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to transform complex, abstract information into clear, actionable outcomes for diverse audiences
  • Proficiency with tools such as SAP, Catia Magic, MS Office (PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Power BI)

Why you will love working here

We care! Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities and parental support.
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance and a strong focus on well-being activities.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering in your community.
  • Access to on-demand training and learning sessions and carefully structured programmes to pursue personal and professional development opportunities.

We are inclusive! Celebrating and valuing our differences helps us see possibilities where others can't. We therefore welcome and encourage applications from all abilities, experiences, and backgrounds.
