In this role, you will be pivotal in professionalizing learning in Grundfos CBS with a special focus on new and existing products and solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with other functional learning specialists and business partners to shape and coordinate comprehensive learning plans. Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, CBS and working closely with the CBS HR Learning Partner, you’ll be the go-to expert for functional learning activities, maintaining the competency matrix and coordinating end-to-end learning journeys.
What is the job about?
As our Senior Learning Specialist, your main responsibility will be to help professionalizing our technical learning in CBS Solutions & Marketing. You will need to create an overview of existing competencies and help defining the different learning needs and methods for successful implementation of our strategy. This also includes assisting e.g. Product and Application Managers to plan, create, execute and follow-up on specific training modules.
Your main responsibilities:
- Competency Management: Develop and maintain the competency matrix for all job roles, identifying skill gaps and recommending strategies to address them through targeted learning initiatives.
- Functional Training Plan: Create and recommend training plans aligned with the competency matrix and strategic goals for various job roles within the function.
- Learning Journey Development: Design and adapt learning programs to meet the specific needs of the functional area, ensuring content is current and relevant.
- End-to-End Learning Coordination: Plan and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and other learning activities, including resource planning and necessary LMS updates.
- Emerging Skills Identification: Identify and integrate emerging skills and competencies into the competency matrix and learning journeys through research and facilitated conversations.
- Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Implement evaluation mechanisms to assess and improve the effectiveness of learning programs based on feedback and performance data.
Your background
We are looking for a highly structured individual who excels at making detailed plans, creating comprehensive overviews, and identifying pain points. The ideal candidate will be a strong executor, capable of following through on tasks and ensuring effective follow-up. Your ability to maintain organization and drive projects to completion will be crucial to your success in this role.
Furthermore, we imagine that you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably within learning science or a related discipline.
- Experience in the learning field, preferably within a technical business context.
- Experience with project management and/or coordination.
- Good communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
