What is the job about?

You'll become a valuable member of the digital development team of the Industry Division, within the Digital Solutions department which is dedicated to conceiving, developing, and introducing novel and impactful digital solutions to our industrial clients. 

 

As a Senior IoT Software Development Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of digital applications and at the heart of creating robust and scalable solutions that power our IoT ecosystem and Industry Solutions. Your work and emphasis will be on creating robust and scalable solutions, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues and cross-functional teams to create and deliver excellence, while continuously enhancing our team's capabilities. 

 

We are continually advancing our multi-tenant platform on Microsoft Azure Cloud by employing a comprehensive tech stack that includes cutting-edge technologies, languages, and development tools such as: 

  • Microservices and event-driven solution-architecture 
  • C#, .Net 6, Node, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Apollo server 
  • Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and software pipelines 
  • Datadog, SonarCloud, BlackDuck, Seeker, Azure DevOps, and Jira 
  • High security and coding standards, with extensive coverage of testing 

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Craft and develop user-friendly and responsive frontend interfaces, ensuring seamless user experience. 
  • Leverage your expertise with UX/UI implementation and best practices to optimize frontend performance and scalability. 
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing applications, design concepts and user interactions effectively. 
  • Foster close teamwork with both frontend and backend engineers to seamlessly integrate frontend functionalities with backend services. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT components and services into our innovative products. 
  • Serve as valuable source of experience, knowledge and guidance to peers and colleagues. 

 

Your background:

We imagine that you have: 

  • You likely possess a degree in software development or equivalent skills with years of practical experience.  
  • Solid experience with technologies and frameworks, like React, GraphQL, typescript or similar. 
  • Robust knowledge and experience with IoT and hands-on experience in frontend development best practices  
  • Exhibit creative problem-solving abilities with a fervent dedication to user-centric design. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for teamwork 
  • Display comprehensive understanding of software development methodologies and processes.
