This Senior Director Finance, Water Treatment Global & Water Treatment Europe role offers the opportunity to influence strategy, enable growth, and deliver impact at the heart of a sustainability-driven business.


What you will do

  • Transformation Leadership: Lead the transition to a unified operating model, integrating multiple entities while supporting business growth.
  • Systems Integration: Drive ERP implementation and harmonisation across diverse legacy systems.
  • Strategic Partnering: Provide financial insight that shapes business decisions and improves profitability.
  • Performance Management: Establish robust forecasting, budgeting, and governance processes.
  • Team Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing team and play a key role in the Water Treatment leadership team.
  • Change Management: Support cultural integration and embed new ways of working across regions.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure strong controls, compliance, and ethical standards.

What you bring

  • Significant senior finance leadership experience within international organisations.
  • Strong commercial finance experience driving growth, profitability, and performance.
  • Proven success leading transformation, ERP programmes, and post-merger integration.
  • Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders in complex matrix environments.
  • Strong knowledge of financial governance, FP&A, and ERP systems.
  • Experience building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Resilience and adaptability in changing environments with imperfect data.
  • Based within commuting distance of Stilling/Bjerringbro, or willing to relocate.
  • Commitment to international mobility, including future relocation opportunities within Grundfos.

This position is based in Denmark and involves international travel. To be successful in the role, you will either already be located within commuting distance of our Stilling/Bjerringbro offices or be willing to relocate to the area. We also welcome applications from candidates currently based outside Denmark who are open to relocating. As part of Grundfos' global leadership community, this role requires a commitment to international mobility, including openness to future relocation opportunities and potential moves to other countries as part of long-term career development within the organisation.
