As our new Senior Product Development Engineer, you will be driving the design and development of cutting-edge products and technologies, taking ownership of key product areas and ensuring seamless transfer across the full value chain. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Research & Development team, you'll create impact by Developing next-generation products and technologies that advance Grundfos's mission to pioneer solutions to the world's water and climate challenges.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Take ownership of a defined product or technology area, driving design and development from concept through to production readiness
  • Ensure successful transfer of products to the full value chain, collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams
  • Develop and implement key technologies while providing strategic input to the product development roadmap
  • Mentor fellow engineers and foster knowledge-sharing to elevate the team's technical capabilities
  • Deliver high-quality contributions to product development projects on time and within scope

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a technically strong and collaborative engineer with deep product development experience, a talent for mentoring others, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.

 

We would also imagine that you have:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in product development processes within a manufacturing environment
  • Solid knowledge of product development plans, processes, and lifecycle activities
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive technical decisions

 

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience working in a large-scale manufacturing environment, preferably in pump technology or fluid handling
  • Track record of mentoring junior engineers and building team capabilities
  • Experience contributing to technology roadmaps and long-term product strategy
