You will start as Scrum Master for a team in Production IT at Grundfos, with the opportunity to expand to more teams as you grow with us. This isn't just about running ceremonies, it's about driving and facilitating the backlog, removing impediments for the team, working closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure both our own and business needs are prioritized and delivered.
A key role will also be promoting process improvements and aligning CMMI maturity initiatives across the IS organization. This involves sharing successful practices, learning from other teams and implementing relevant improvements in our team, as well as facilitating cross-departmental sessions to encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement throughout the IT organization.
Your Main Responsibilities
You elevate team performance through coaching and facilitation. Drive continuous improvement in agile maturity and development practices and partner with Product Owners to maximize business value. You remove obstacles to team success, lead cross-departmental initiatives to raise the bar for the entire IS organization. And you champion CMMI maturity while sharing best practices across the organization.
Your focus areas
- Aligning with Product Owner on business needs and prioritization
- Take ownership of the backlog and ensure a prioritized backlog with well-defined items and a feature delivery plan based on release cycles
- Guide and support the development team in delivering the sprint commitment while shielding them from unplanned, foreign disturbances
- Remove impediments
- Interact with other development and delivery teams
- Secure alignment with key stakeholders in IS and across the organization
- Promote a customer-oriented mindset
- Drive initiatives across departments in the IT organization and have sharing sessions to inspire and get inspired about development process maturity across the IS organization
Your Background
We imagine that you have:
- 2-5 years of experience with agile development
- Ability to inspire enthusiasm and positive energy in your team
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar development management tools
- Ability to engage and network with all levels of the organization
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Outgoing personality, willing to learn and adapt
