SCRUM Master for Manufacturing Execution System program

Our Manufacturing Execution System program is a strategic initiative that significantly impacts our future manufacturing performance across sites globally. 
 

The MES project is organized in our IT organization and includes business stakeholders. The position is based in Bjerringbro, Denmark.
 

Job description
You will be taking over from the external SCRUM Master and leading the transformation of the existing core solutions delivery team of 15+ people into a setup with a solutions delivery team, a deployment and an operational team. The current team covers a diverse mix of specialist profiles representing business, IT, SW development and MES people partnering with an external software team and Access and rollout team.
 

Throughout 2024, we will scale as the project matures and involves more sites and solutions. The complexity is high with advanced production lines across global locations and delivering to different business divisions in Grundfos.
 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead the core solution delivery team, facilitating agile events and ensuring efficient development of the MES platform.
• Core driver to identify improvements, develop and implement agile processes and ways of working based on the team situation and current needs.
• Coaching partner and supervisor for the software development team, deployment and operational team.
• Responsible for agreement of team quality metrics on the end-to-end value chain of MES deliverables.
• Ensure the right mix of specialist profiles is anchored in the team in collaboration with the people manager.
• Align the priorities and roadmap with the business product owner in collaboration with the technical solution architect.
• Participate in program organizational development and budget forecasts with the program manager, project manager and people manager.
• Key contact point to the IT organization that is directly or indirectly supplying deliverables and/or services to the MES program.
• Inform and align with management in the organization for MES-related topics.
   

What do you need to apply?
We are looking for an excellent communicator and facilitator comfortable with navigating team dynamics and creating an open environment for all opinions to be heard. You are very familiar with ensuring collaboration and commitment to agreed tasks and activities in a team. You enjoy a fast-changing environment with stakeholders internally across a global organization as well as externally.
 

Required qualifications:

• Certified as Scrum Master
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or equivalent educational background
• Minimum 6 years experience with agile ways of working 
• Preferable experience working with multiple interdepended agile teams for a program setup
• Experience in Azure DevOps or other similar agile management tools as JIRA
• Proficient in English and Danish
• Experience with IT/MES solutions for manufacturing industries is an advantage
• Experience working with process optimization is a plus
