Are you an experienced Scrum Master and do you want to work in an international environment with cross functional teams creating highly integrated, innovative pump solutions and do you have a passion coaching the individual, so they improve? If yes, you might be the one we are looking for.

 

At Grundfos, we develop state-of-the-art water management technology for both private and commercial use, that is both reliable and sustainable.

In Bjerringbro, you will join Product Development within Domestic Building Service (DBS), dedicated to drive the development projects within Grundfos core products like SCALA2 and ALPHA. Here, you will play a key role in our development teams together with highly skilled engineers and Product Owners.

You will be Scrum Master for 2 teams: a) for our motor and hydraulic development team and b) for our team working at product level.

 

What is the job about?

Grundfos is on an agile journey and to succeed with this, we need an experienced Scrum Master who has a wish to contribute to this transformation in a multi-team environment.

 

Your responsibility will be coaching 2 cross functional development teams. You will do so by guiding them to improve ways of working to maximize value. As you will be in a multi-team setup cross team disciplines like dependency management and impediments handling beyond your own teams are important to master.

 

To ensure that you grow we do have a very active Scrum Master guild where you share learnings and ideas and can reach out to get support.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Coaching the teams in self-management and ability to effectively work cross functionally.
  • Being cognizant about team health and act/guide the team to ensure they continuously improve the way of working.
  • Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed.
  • Helping Product Owners to understand product planning in an empirical environment. Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value and help Product Owner in understanding and practicing agility.
  • Working closely with other teams delivering to the same program, where effective dependency management and removal of impediments are key.
  • Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management. Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items.
  • Causing change in the organization that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team.
  • Communicating with other stakeholders and partners and developing and nurturing an extensive network within the complete organisation.

 

 

Your background

Certified Scrum Master or equivalent and proven experience with this or generic, servant leadership is crucial to the job. A good knowledge within integrated product development and the technical disciplines we have like electronics development, mechanical development, or System engineering is highly beneficial, but if you do not have this, we will together develop it.

 

We imagine that you have:

  • Min. 3 years of experience with agile going beyond SW as well as stage gate methodologies preferable from a large R&D organisation.
  • Great change management skills and are ready to take part in driving our ongoing change toward agile project management.
  • Experience with scaling agile across an organisation
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills that enable you to work with technical projects and at the same time have a wish to grow own skills together with other Scrum Masters
  • A technical background, minimum a bachelor’s degree or similar within relevant area.
  • Fluently oral and written communication skills in English.
