What is the job about?

As our Product Owner, you’ll be responsible for maximizing the execution output of the Motor and Hydraulics Development Team and securing product development backlog which is fully aligned with customer requirements.You will be part of DBS (Domestic Building Services) Product Development DCW (Domestic Cold Water) Department.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Represents the team projects’ deliveries in the project management team, stakeholder reviews
  • Clearly expressing Product Backlog items from an end2end perspective (across value chain).
  • Ordering the items in the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and missions.
  • Optimizing the value of the work the Development Team performs.
  • Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and clearly define expectations on what the Scrum Team will work on next.
  • Prepare forecasting, estimates, risks and for product development within a product group.
  • Ensuring the Development Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed.
  • Refinement of Epic’s cross functionally within the dependency of the Scrum team.
  • Actively contribute to foster a constructive culture  within the team
  • Align and agree on deliveries from resources outside Product Development.
  • Ensure the deliverables of the team comply with relevant standards and team follows applicable workflows
  • Validates that technical deliverables from Development  Team is fulfilling stakeholder expectations. Otherwise providing team with constructive feedback.
  • Allocate team capacity within the framework given 


Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • Master or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in similar role / responsibility with responsibility for product backlogs and delivery.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, ideally with prior Product Owner experience
  • Proven experience with planning work for a team and keeping track of time spent and quality in deliveries.
  • Ability to communicate Business Development and Product Management decisions and background.
  • Understanding our products and stakeholders’ needs
  • Understanding of Agile principles and values
  • Advanced communication skills in English, oral as well as in writing.
  • Experience/knowledge understanding of Electronics would be a great advantage.
