Job Description

To support this mission and ensure we stay compliant with laws, regulations, and global standards, we’re now looking for a new Legal Counsel to join our Legal Compliance Team.

Become a part of our Legal Compliance Team

As our new Legal Counsel, you will join our Legal Compliance team which is responsible for export control and sanctions, anti-money laundry, anti-bribery, competition law, and sustainability-related legal compliance.

In this role, you will help shape and support our global compliance efforts, with a particular focus on export control and sanctions. You will be part of a collaborative team, working closely with colleagues across Legal and the wider business. You will also play a key role in managing legal risks, supporting investigations, and futureproofing our compliance framework. Moreover, you will be:

  • Driving and implementing new compliance initiatives, especially within export control and sanctions
  • Developing and maintaining internal compliance rules across Grundfos
  • Leading annual legal risk assessments and helping to improve the management of key risks
  • Managing defence files and supporting internal investigations
  • Carrying out compliance training as needed—both within the Legal team and to other Grundfos colleagues worldwide
  • Staying on top of new compliance-related legislation and helping us implement it effectively

You will report directly to Grundfos Head of Legal Compliance & Special Projects, Inger Fogh.

Your background

We imagine that you:


  • Have a master’s degree from law school or business law
  • Have minimum 3 years of relevant post-graduate experience
  • Have knowledge and experience within Legal Compliance
  • Approach your work with a positive and curious mindset
  • Can work independently and are solution-oriented
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment where tasks and priorities continue to evolve
  • Are fluent in English – spoken and written
