Research & Development
Lead Technical Project Manager
Job Description

Are you experienced in managing highly integrated products? Do you want to set the strategic direction for a key product range that impacts millions?

At Grundfos, we develop cutting-edge, reliable, and sustainable water management technologies for both private and commercial use. In Bjerringbro, you will join the Product Development team within Domestic Building Services (DBS), where we focus on making our high-runner circulator pumps the most attractive in the market.

As our new Lead Technical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving product lifecycle activities. We’re looking for someone who dares to challenge the status quo while ensuring we stay focused on delivering value to our customers.

“Within Product Development, you will have plenty of opportunities to leverage your technical and leadership skills as you lead the lifecycle activities for our circulator product family,”
— Jan Maas Vølker, R&D Director

Your main responsibilities

In this role, you will lead initiatives to optimize the DBS circulator product range, coordinating cross-functional efforts across the organization. You will also be responsible for prioritizing and executing product maintenance activities.

Strong stakeholder management and project leadership are essential—you will be the key link between technical teams, product managers, production, and other business functions. Just as importantly, you will be a key player in fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment across diverse teams.

Moreover, you will:

  • Ensure the Product Maintenance Backlog is visible, transparent, and clearly communicated to all stakeholders
  • Maximize the output of the product maintenance team
  • Develop and maintain a technical product lifecycle management plan
  • Drive a cross-functional Product Lifecycle Team including Product Managers, Technical Key Account Managers, Purchasing, and Production
  • Facilitate cooperation and alignment across stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality project execution

Your background

To succeed in this role, you must bring proven experience in both stakeholder management and project management. You thrive in complex environments, can navigate competing priorities, and know how to bring people together to move projects forward.

We imagine that you have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field
  • Solid experience in project management, ideally in hybrid environments (stage-gate + agile)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and align diverse stakeholders across functions and geographies
  • A collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills to foster cooperation
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills in a global organization
  • A proactive approach and the ability to drive impact across teams
