In Bjerringbro, you will join R&D, more specifically the Electronics Development within Water Utility committed to drive the development projects within Grundfos core products like to develop controllers used for Grundfos wastewater and clean ground water pumps such as SP, SQ and SEG pumps. Here, you will have an important role in our development teams together with highly skilled engineers, technicians, SCRUM Master and Product Owner. 

Drive technical project processes 
As our new System Integrator Engineer you will be taking the lead of the technical part of the future solutions. To do so you will based on system engineering principles make sure that the architecture is defined and broken into system elements which are executable by the system elements teams. This will be done in close collaboration with the development teams, the manufacturing engineering teams, the product owners and other relevant functions. 

Being the technical lead on integrated product development projects, you: 

  • Lead technical requirements, design, implementation and documentation 
  • Lead defining appropriate architecture and solutions and align these across platforms 
  • Actively communicate with other functions to gather information on technical system requirements and make sure all developed systems fulfil these 
  • Actively collaborate with technical project members and setting the direction of technical solution of our coming products
  • Monitor development and ensure technical quality throughout projects

As the technical lead on projects, you will be a central link between project members working on electronics, mechanical and software development, the management and many other functions throughout Grundfos. For each project, you may be in contact with many people, building yourself a broad network across Grundfos and using your voice to drive the technical solution of future products in the right direction.

Experienced technical leader with knowledge of electronics 
With your interpersonal skills, you motivate and engage others involved in projects and tasks, ensuring that the desired outcome is achieved by solid technical solutions. You know how to take on the technical leadership of a project, and you have the knowledge to drive them in a complex, international organization. 

Furthermore, we imagine that you have: 

  • Solid proven technical experience within multi-domain product and system development
  • System engineering certification, like INCOSE level B (if not, then we will provide it) 
  • Solid, proven experience with technical leadership – maybe as a technical project manager, senior development engineer or similar  
  • Experience with development, for example within electronics – experience with mechanics and software is a great plus 
  • A bachelor´s engineering degree as a minimum 
  • Fluent oral and written communication skills in English, and you are capable of functioning in an English-only speaking environment.
