At Grundfos, we now offer you the opportunity to become part of the IT Project Manager team that consists of 23 highly engaged and skilled colleagues who work together across Bjerringbro, Shanghai, Manila, Houston and Budapest. This position is located at our HQ in Bjerringbro, Denmark. As a Lead Project Manager, you actively take ownership of the way we manage IT projects in PMO & Project Execution.
What do we offer?
The unit is part of our Business Design department, which acts as a link to stakeholders within the Grundfos organization and oversees setting the strategic direction for IT. There are currently approx. 700 employees in Grundfos IT, and we complete around 170 projects a year.

What is the job about?
As a Lead Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving both large- and medium-size innovative IT projects from the start-up phase, until we are live, and the goal has been reached. It is typically IT business development projects, transformation projects and other IT-related projects covering all areas.
Your main responsibilities:
- Ensure that projects are delivered within the agreed scope/time and continually keep all stakeholders updated and informed. You need to focus on achieving the expected result in collaboration with the business.
- Manage concurrent projects and ensure that we actively use our IS project model which you are expected to help mature and develop further. Our Project model makes it possible to use both traditional, agile and hybrid delivery methods such as PRINCE2, Scrum, Agile on-time, and Half Double.
- Are expected to be able to select the right approach for each project you steer, as we believe each project is unique.
Your business partners are typically executives who wish to implement a new initiative. You will gain a wide International interface within the business and become a central sounding board to your colleagues in the department as well as Delivery Managers globally. You can expect some travel days depending on the individual projects you manage, but not many – we learned a lot from the Covid-period.

Your background:
We believe that you have an academic degree and 5+ years of documented experience within IS project management, preferably from an international organization. It is an advantage if you have Project Management certification and an understanding of agile approaches.
Furthermore, we imagine that you :
- Have most likely worked with projects within the PLM area and if you have experience with Catia upgrades it’s an advantage
- Have excellent collaboration- and stakeholder management skills
- Have strong communication skills
- Know how to set direction, support, and motivate the people around you
- Are a highly committed and responsible person
- Speak and write English fluently.
