Lead Product Owner
Job Description

Then join the CBS Digital Development department in Bjerringbro. We are responsible for developing and operating the digital solutions including developing cloud - and application software.

Become a part of a cross-functional learning environment

As our new Product Owner, you will be part of a department consisting of Solution Product Owners and Solution Scrum Masters, and developers. You will report to Capability Manager, Digital Solutions, Peder Nielsen.

We work cross functional, agile and in close contact with our business partners and customers. As Product Owner you will translate the customer pains and needs into a clear team vision and roadmap. You will support the Scrum Master in improving ways of working which optimizes the delivered value of your team but also across our teams.

What is the job about?

Your key tasks will be to specify, prioritize and prepare your backlog for your Scrum Team, and ensure that the software backlog is visible and shows what the Scrum Teams will work on next. To do this you will have a close cooperation with our customers, solution managers, business developers, peer product owners, architects and the Scrum Team.

Furthermore, you will:

·       Create, specify, and maintain backlog items, requirements, and feature models in cooperation with business, peer Product Owners and architects

·       Coordination and alignment of dependencies with other teams including proactive stakeholder management

·       Be available for development teams to clarify and discuss ambiguities

·       Order the items in the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and missions

·       Balance functional and non-functional requirements and ensure that the Development Teams understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed.

Experience in systems development and knowledge of commercial buildings and district energy can be beneficial but is not mandatory.

What do you need to apply?

We are looking for your ability to and experience with transforming business and technology needs into an executable backlog.

We also imagine that you have:

·       Project management experience.

·       Understanding of the products we deliver

·       A relevant master’s degree.

·       Excellent communication and facilitation skills, enabling you to work with software professionals on technical projects in an international environment.

·       A desire to make a difference in addressing the world’s water and climate challenges.
