What is the job about?

Are you passionate about driving robust engineering solutions and contributing to global innovation? As a Lead Mechanical Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining end-to-end mechanical designs within Domestic Cold Water products. Your expertise will ensure compliance with hydraulic and motor design principles, with a strong focus on manufacturable, high-quality outputs that deliver lasting value.

 

Your main responsibilities:

As part of the DCW Motor & Hydraulic team, your key duties will include:

  • Create strong impact on product development projects ensuring robust, manufacturable designs across the entire value chain.
  • Ensuring mechanical design requirements are met in new production and procurement setups, including verification and validation processes.
  • Contributing to innovation by developing key technologies and strategic product roadmaps.
  • Providing leadership and mentoring to colleagues, fostering professional development and sharing expertise.
  • Ensuring product and component documentation is compliant with relevant standards.
  • Striving for design-to-value improvements and timely resolution of product issues.

 

Your background:

We imagine that you have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a large organization.
  • Strong knowledge of integrated product development and mechanical design principles, including dynamics of rotating systems.
  • Experience with 3D CAD, V-model, sub-system verification, and GPS.
  • System engineering knowledge and familiarity with wet runner motors is advantageous.
  • Proactive attitude, accountability, and inspiring collaboration skills.
  • Fluency in English to effectively communicate and network with diverse stakeholders.
