Lead Software Test Architect

Then join Embedded Software Development in Group Technology & Innovation in Bjerringbro. We are looking for a Lead Test Architect for embedded software development. You will become part of a team of six cross-organisational architechts focusing on different aspects of developing the embedded software for our platform and products. The team supports our complete embedded software development organisation with system architecture, and you will be part of a function developing the firmware across our product portfolio.

What is the job about?

You will have a varied and diverse job where you have cooperation with the architecture team, test responsible’ s and stakeholders across our organisations ensuring alignment on the test architecture tasks assigned to you

Your main responsibilities:

• Leading and coordination of our test governance team, consisting of members from all our development teams.
• Drive software test architecture tasks ensuring a uniform test approach in our organization.
• Participate in cross organizational quality initiatives and be driver of selected initiatives.
• As lead Test Architect you are overall responsible for several of our tools used during our verification process
• Be part of our governance in software development
• Participate in process improvement within software development, and across organisation.
• Participate in research projects in university cooperation within software development methods.
• Be available for development teams to clarify and discuss ambiguities regarding test and processes.

It is a prerequisite that you have solid understanding on software test and a plus if you have knowledge in development of embedded systems. You collaborate with colleagues in both Denmark, India and China.

Experience in some of the following areas would be an advantage:

• Solid knowledge on software test including test management. ISTQB knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge and understanding on Systems Engineering, INCOSE certification is an advantage.
• Software Product Line Engineering and software platform development
• Knowledge on programming languages like C and Python
• Pure Variants, IBM Doors, git, Jenkins, C4 software documentation, RVTM

Your background:

You have a solid experience in test within the software development domain and have a genuine interest in working within software test architecture.  Any understanding of the products we deliver is highly beneficial, and you probably hold a relevant master’s degree. Also, you have excellent communication and facilitation skills, enabling you to work with software professionals on technical projects.
