Internship in Grundfos DBS Supply Chain organization / Customer Supply Chain team

Are you looking for an internship in fall 2024? Would you like to work with the part of supply chain connecting vendor & customer? Do you want to create logistic tools & solutions that enables & optimize the collaboration & performance between Grundfos and our most important partners within wholesaling?

This is your chance to work with some of the sharpest minds as you do an internship focusing on creating solutions within Supply Chain & Logistics that can position Grundfos as the best supplying partner in the business. You become part of DBS Customer & Supply Chain Differentiation team. Here, we are 5 colleagues responsible for driving collaboration projects our biggest global wholesalers. What is the job about?

We believe that everyone in Grundfos has passion and potential – as well as the power to influence. This is the environment where you will do your internship. We imagine that you will work with establishing a forecasting data model with our most important customers, securing a better demand plan towards Grundfos production. Furthermore, you will be engaged in ad hoc task in relation to optimizing our performance towards our trade customers.

More specifically, you will:

- Build a data model to collect and streamline customer forecasting data.
- Build a power BI dashboard for stakeholders to access the market forecast.
- Align with Grundfos Sales & wholesalers’ data & market knowledge sharing.
- Establish relations & partnerships with our most important customers.
- Help solve ad hoc issues occurring your stay.

We expect the internship will start in August/September 2024 and ends in January 2025. You will be working for 37 hours per week at our headquarter in Bjerringbro, but we are of course ready to schedule your working hours around exams and schoolwork. There is a possibility of working from home on agreed days. Furthermore, you will also be given the opportunity to extend your stay and write your master thesis in collaboration with Grundfos.


What do you need to apply?

- You are studying at master level within supply chain & logistics and possess knowledge within demand planning, forecasting, inventory planning, supply & logistic flow.
- You show initiative and work proactively and independently on new assignments, as this will help you make the most of your time with us.
- You have an international outlook and speak and write English fluently.
