Grundfos have a global IT Organization which among many areas, have a well-established CIO Office. In our HQ in Bjerringbro, we are looking for a Service Engagement Consultant to join our 21 persons global team, engaged in management support, administration, communication, operational excellence, contract and license management. The team members are currently located in Manila (PH), Shanghai (CN) and Bjerringbro (DK).  


What is the job about?
The Service Engagement Consultant is the liaison officer between Grundfos Business, Grundfos IT and relevant external suppliers in regards to onboarding of new software or offboarding of software being end-of-life. In addition, you shall ensure ongoing dispatching of license/contract related tickets in our ServiceNow system.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Software Board / SMEG
    • Provide software advisory on requests, as well as evaluate and verify justification for Non-standard Software requests with stakeholders for acceptance/rejection
    • Responsible for defining and describing the process and procedure to support Software Board activities
  • License Management
    • Responsible for continually updating the Solution Owner list and be the point of contact for managers and colleagues regarding software related inquiries
    • Daily validation on new requests coming in to License Management queue in ServiceNow and ensure dispatching of tickets
    • Monitor MS Office 365 licenses in collaboration with team, and assist with harvesting and optimization on Microsoft Office 365 licenses
  • Service Introduction
    • Ensure proper handover of all new software contracts from purchasing to operations and support in relevant teams (e.g. Contract, License, Security, User Experience and Service Desk)
    • On request, transfer software licenses from the business into ownership, operations and support in Grundfos IS
    • Handle/coordinate software end-of-life
    • Continually identifying Solution Owner/Responsible on software products
  • Other relevant tasks 


What do you need to apply?
We imagine, that you have a relevant education within IT combined with some years of relevant work experience. Most important, you have a broad knowledge and interest in different kinds of software. 


Moreover, you:

  • Have general IT knowledge, and are able to understand new software
  • Have good communication skills, and speak and write English fluently
  • Are able to collaborate with stakeholders across functions and levels
  • Have good experience and skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams etc.)
  • Are good at coordinating and initiating actions, and are able to handle several tasks at same time
  • Have accountability and a focus on getting things done.
